Damien Demolder
Editor
After three years in the Features Department and four years as Technical Editor of AP, Damien Demolder was appointed Editor of AP in February 2007.
As Technical Editor and Deputy Editor Damien ran AP's in-house testing team and has experience of a wide range of different camera systems, lens types, desktop printers and scanners. He has worked for IPC's photo titles since 1997, and before that he was a professional photographer.

Chris Cheesman
News Editor
Chris is the first port of call for relaying photography related news, whether it be the latest products and technology, photo competitions, breaches of photographers' rights - or stories about key figures and companies making their mark on the industry. Before joining AP in 1999 Chris worked as a news reporter and feature writer on business magazines and has journalistic experience both inside and outside photography. As a keen photo enthusiast Chris mainly uses a digital SLR when out and about.

Bob Aylott
Features Editor
Bob Aylott started in Fleet Street as a 15-year-old tea boy with the Sport and General Press Agency in 1964. From there he joined Keystone Press Agency as a photographer, following that with staff jobs at The Daily Sketch, Daily Mail, The National Enquirer in America and then, finally, the Daily Star. He has won numerous awards including The British News Photographer of the Year and a World Press award for his prison pictures of Charles Manson.
Angela Nicholson
Technical Writer
Angela has been with the AP Technical Department since early 2004. Before joining the magazine she taught photography and worked as a freelance photographer. A medium format, 35mm and digital camera user, she has a passion for colour photography and digital technology.
David Clark
Senior Features Writer
David completed a postgraduate journalism qualification in 1992 and afterwards worked as a features writer and reviewer. A keen photographer since his teens, he joined AP in 1998 and was promoted to his current post in 2005. He has interviewed some of the world's most celebrated photographers, including Arnold Newman, Elliot Erwitt, Steve McCurry and Frans Lanting.
Barney Britton
Technical Writer
Barney Britton is the newest member of AP's technical team, and joined the magazine in September 2006. Before coming to AP he was a professional music and theatre photographer, based in the North-East of England. Barney is a digital and film user, with experience of shooting with a range of different systems.
Geoffrey Crawley
Photo-Science Consultant
Geoffrey formulated the Paterson range of developers and is an acknowledged expert on the science of photography. During his 21 years as Editor of the BJP, he exposed the Cottingley Fairies hoax and advised investigators into the assassination of President Kennedy.
Ben Brain
Feature Writer
Ben Brain graduated with BA (Hons) in photography from Derby in 1991. He has taught photography, worked as a freelance photographer and exhibited his work in the UK and USA. After a decade in the USA he returned to the UK in 2005 and joined the AP team as technique/features writer.
