The world's number one weekly photography magazine
Appear in AP's brand new Gallery
Photo credit: Simon Morris, editor's choice AP 17 May 2008
To mark the launch of the new-look AP, our reader Gallery has had a bit of a makeover. Every week we feature a selection of the best images sent to us. To do justice to the quality and diversity of the submissions we receive, we're now publishing three reader 'portfolios' per issue. We want to give more space to your images and by featuring collections of work from individual photographers, we feel able to do this.
Published submissions will each receive £50. In addition, every week editor Damien Demolder will pick his favourite image and the winner will receive a Kata photo backpack worth £80.
So, to be in with a chance of appearing in the AP Gallery, send in a collection of no more than ten images – preferably on a similar theme – to the address below. All submissions must include information outlined on the submission form. Please note we cannot publish portfolios without this information.
Submitting your pictures
To have your pictures published in the Gallery pages, send in a selection of up to ten images. They can be either a selection of different images or all have the same theme. Digital files sent in on CD should be saved in a Photoshop-compatible format, such as JPEG or TIFF, and be accompanied by a contact sheet and submission form. Each RGB image should be a minimum of 2480 pixels along its longest length. Transparencies and prints are also accepted. We would recommend that transparencies are sent without glass mounts and posted via Special Delivery. For transparencies, prints or discs to be returned you must include a stamped addressed envelope with sufficient postage.
